Cooper Haims Advisors LLC hires Dean Hutchinson, CFP®
Rochester, N.Y. (June 11, 2014) — Cooper/Haims Advisors LLC, a Rochester-based wealth management and tax consultation firm, has hired Dean Hutchinson as senior financial advisor. In his new role, Hutchinson will be responsible for comprehensive financial planning, tax planning and investment management.
Hutchinson has more than 15 years of experience in the field of financial advising. He previously held the position of vice president, wealth advisor and planning department manager at Tompkins Financial Advisors in Pittsford, New York, where he was employed for seven years. Earlier in his career, he served as financial advisor for Rochester-based Nixon Peabody and as junior portfolio manager at Mellon Private Asset Management in San Francisco, California.
Hutchinson is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He also earned a financial planning graduate certificate from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Hutchinson is a CFP® practitioner, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., a highly respected financial services industry organization.
Hutchinson lives in Brighton, New York, with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys playing guitar, coaching lacrosse and skiing.
